Our Children’s Ministry is under the direction of Pastor LeAnne Sallee.
Pastor LeAnne is an ordained Assemblies of God minister. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Ministries from Western Bible College. She has been a children’s pastor for over 20 years. She is passionate to lead children to Christ and to equip them to defend their faith. She and her husband, Milton, have been married 35 years. They have three grown children and four grandchildren.
Use the circular drive in front of the Family Life Center to drop off your children in bad weather. Then go grab some coffee & pastries in the CoffeeBean Coffee Depot before heading into church – which also begins at 10:00 a.m.
Our staff is prepared to provide the best possible care for your child while they learn about God in a fun and safe environment. It is our desire that each child receives plenty of personal attention and that they will find Christ, love, and friendship in the midst of our church.
Please feel free to contact the Leader in each department with any questions or concerns you may have.
Nursery (Ages birth – 3 yrs)
We want you to have the best, distraction-free experience so we have arranged for a nursery to take care of your little ones while you are in service. They will enjoy playing & interacting with other children; singing & praise; participating in a Bible based lesson; prayer; snacks; and of course, lots of attention! Our Nursery is under the direction of Mrs. Judy Battenberg. Visit their page for specific details.
Kids (Ages 4-11 yrs)
Please join us every Sunday morning for a fun-filled time of worship as Pastor LeAnne Sallee and her staff teach the Bible using a multi-media approach.
Cross Train Preschool: Ages 4 & 5
Cross Train Elementary: Ages 6-11

Your kids will love our ministry! Every Children’s Church service includes high impact praise & worship, Bible training, games, and prayer.
At Cross Church we believe that a successful Christian life starts when you are a child so it’s never too early to start learning God’s promises. The Bible says to “Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.” – Proverbs 3:6 (New Living Translation). We teach children the Word of God so when they face trials in life, they can lean on scripture.
